Description:
Brazilian carnauba wax is a natural plant wax with high hardness, suitable for use as an additive in the production of candles and wax products.
It is added to other types of wax to improve the hardness and durability of the finished product. It is especially suitable for molded and decorative candles, where it is important for the candle to maintain its shape well and have a harder and smoother surface.
Advantages:
- plant wax;
- increases the hardness of the wax mixture;
- supports the durability of candles at higher temperatures;
- suitable for molded and decorative candles;
- can be combined with soy wax, paraffin, and other wax blends;
- convenient form of small granules/flakes for easy dosing and melting.
Used as an additive to the base wax. It is recommended to start with a small percentage and make a test candle, as the amount can affect hardness, burning, and wick selection.
Instructions for use:
Added to already melted soy wax in an amount 2–5% of the total wax quantity. Stir well until fully dissolved and the mixture is homogeneous, then proceed with the usual candle-making process.
Example:
For 1 kg of soy wax, add 20–50 г карнаубски восък.
A preliminary test is recommended, especially for detailed molded candles and when changing the wick used.
Packaging: 100 g
Storage:
Store in a dry and cool place, in a well-sealed package, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
