Our translucent liquid silicone for mold making is made from safe silicone material, non-toxic and odorless, flexible, soft, and transparent. It is also suitable for coloring with liquid and powder pigments to create new colors.

EASY MIXING AND CURING – EASY TO USE – No special skills or tools are required. The silicone mold making kit includes parts A and B, the mixing ratio is 3% by weight with hardener.

Normal RTV2 silicones can be used up to 80-100 degrees.

USAGE: Pour part A and part B together into a clean mixing container, then carefully stir the two components for about 5 minutes, making sure to mix the mixture well for better results. The working time of the liquid silicone mixture is 20 to 30 minutes, and the full curing time is 8 to 15 hours at room temperature, depending on the size and thickness of the mold. Mixing quantities under 200g is not recommended.

How much color should be added to epoxy resin to tint it?

We recommend starting with a smaller amount, mixing well, and adding more if you want the color to be more saturated.

Why is my resin cloudy and not crystal clear?

Answer

The resin you received is cloudy and not crystal clear as described. In cold weather, it is normal for epoxy resin to become cloudy and lose its crystal-clear transparency. This process is called resin crystallization.

To stop the crystallization process, immerse the bottle or tube you received in a bucket or similar container, then pour hot water.

Wait about 10 minutes until it returns to its crystalline appearance.

How should epoxy resin be stored?
